the long weekend

I get asked fairly often about my process, so i started playing around with screen capture software and am putting together a few quicktime tutorials on some of the quick and dirty tricks i use. some of the initial topics covered will be "digital inking" and "film noir lighting"
if these go over well i may be inclined to do something of a full blown dvd covering digital painting and coloring techniques as well. we'll see.

a wild weekend to come

some notes-----
the portland Grindhouse film festival is hitting on friday, and i can't wait. Should be a blast!
my blog still won't allow me to load images right of my computer...maybe there's a mb limit. so now its back to the slightly more convoluted method.
apparently there's a page of the Southland Tales comic in the new issue of Giant. i haven't seen it yet. hopefully today i can find a copy.

hmmmm...

i've been trying to load up new images, but it keeps "error"ing me. my blog's broken for the moment it seems. :(
